here are numerous ways that can lead to one’s achievement in life. Each time I raise a topic about wealth creation, most people always think of having a machine that prints money or a tree where you can plunk money from.

Come to think about it, investing on a lucrative business that fetches you money always when you demand for it is also like having the said money printing machine or tree where you can plunk money from.

After carrying out a research on the fruit marketing business, I discovered that fruits are really on a high demand because of the nutritional benefits or values and the vitamins stored in them.

Before going further, let us consider some common fruits in our locality, their nutritional values or benefits and their activities in the human system.

1.                 Pawpaw: Just as we all know that pawpaw is a fruit, but did we also know that the benefits of eating this fruit goes far beyond the generic boost of vitamin C. Let us take a look at some of the benefits of eating pawpaw.

i.                   Pawpaw Contains Antioxidants: Pawpaw is a rich source of antioxidants and taking it helps to prevent cancer i.e the body needs it (antioxidants) to fight against cancer. It contains cucurbitacin E, a triterpene anti-inflammatory phytonutrient, and unusual amounts of the amino acid citrulline. Watermelon is a good source of vitamin A, C, B1, B6, pantothenic acid, copper, biotin, potassium and magnesium. The above mentioned nutrients are very important to the human body or system.

3.                 Cucumber: This wonderful low calorie vegetable indeed has more nutrients to offer than just water and electrolytes. It is one of the oldest cultivated crops, and believed to originating in the northern sub-Himalayan plains of India. This plant is a creeper (vine) akin to other members of cucurbita family such as gourds, melons, zucchini, squashes etc. It belongs to the cucurbitaceae family; and is known scientifically as cucumis sativus. It varies in size, shape and color, and are cultivated all around the world under different climatic zones. Considering some health benefits of eating Cucumber.

i.                   It contains unique antioxidants in moderate ratios such as b-carotene and a-carotene, vitamin C, vitamin – A, zea-xanthin and lutein. These compounds help act as protective scavengers against oxygen-derived free radicals and reactive oxygen species that plays a role in aging.

ii.                 It is one of the very low calories vegetable which provide just 15 calories per 100g. It contains no saturated fats or cholesterol. Cucumber peel is a good source of dietary fiber that helps reduce constipation, also offers some protection against colon cancers by eliminating toxic compounds from the gut.

iii.              It is a very good source of potassium.

iv.              Cucumber has a high amount of vitamin K, and vitamin K has been found to have a potential role in bone strength by promoting osteotrophic activity.

v.                 It also have mild diuretic property, which perhaps attributed to their free-water, and potassium and low sodium content. This helps in checking weight gain and high blood pressure.

4.       Apple: Apples are one of the healthiest fruit a person can think of eating. They are high in fiber and vitamin C, and they are also low in calories, though have a trace of sodium but no fat or cholesterol. Apples are high in polyphenols, which function as antioxidants. Apple assist with weight management, pulmonary function, bone health and gastrointestinal protection. Let us see some health benefits of the apple fruit.

i.        They are loaded with vitamin C, it contains insoluble fiber, which provides bulk in the intestinal tract.
ii.       A regular intake of apples have been shown to have cardiovascular benefits due to the fiber and polyphenols that are found in high amounts.
iii.      The presence of pectin in form of soluble fiber, prevents cholesterol from building up in the lining of blood vessels which in turn helps prevent atherosclerosis and heart disease.
iv.      Also the presence of polyphenols and antioxidants in the apple fruits help to decrease oxidation resulting in lowering risk of cardiovascular disease etc.

5.       Pineapple: Pineapples are members of the bromeliad family, and one of the few bromeliads to produce edible fruit. The pineapple fruit is made of many individual berries that fuse together around a central core. Each pineapple scale is an individual berry. The nutritional benefits are as fascinating as their anatomy. Pineapple contain high amounts of vitamin C and manganese. For all its sweetness, one cup of pineapple chunks contains only 82 calories. Pineapples are also fat-free, cholesterol-free and low in sodium. Considering some health benefits of the intake of pineapple.

i.                   Immune System Support: Pineapple contains half of the daily recommended value of vitamin C. Vitamin C is a primary water soluble antioxidant that fights cell damage.
ii.                 Bone Strength: Pineapple may help in keeping one standing tall and strong. The pineapple fruit contains nearly 75 percent of the daily recommended value of the mineral manganese, which is essential in developing strong bones and connective tissue.
iii.              Eye Health: It can help in reducing the risk of macular degeneration, a disease that affects the eyes as people age, due to the high amount of vitamin C and antioxidants that it contains.
iv.              Digestion: Just as many other fruit contains dietary fiber so as pineapple and this dietary fiber is essential for keeping the intestines healthy.
v.                 Common Cold and Sinus Inflammation: Pineapple bromelain may help reduce mucus in the throat and nose because of having lots of vitamin C.
