HOW TO CONNECT YOUR TWITTER AND FACEBOOK ACCOUNT TO TWEET AND RETWEETS

             

The purpose of this post is to elucidate to you the step-by-step procedure or guide through which you can connect your Twitter and Facebook account in order for you to tweet and retweets automatically on your Facebook wall.

Connecting your twitter account and Facebook profile

Steps:

1.       Log into the Twitter account you wish to associate with your Facebook profile.

2.       Go to your settings menu’s Apps tab.

3.       Click connect to Facebook

4.       If you are not already logged into Facebook, you will then be asked to enter your Facebook login details. Enter your details and click login to sign into Facebook.

5.      You will receive a prompt explaining that Twitter will receive certain information from your Facebook account. For you to proceed, you have to click OK.

6.      You will be prompted to select the privacy settings for who will see your tweets and retweets which are been posted to your Facebook wall. By default, it is set to friends, so you can specify which privacy settings as preferred by you.

7.       Select OK in order for you to complete the process.

8.       Your Tweets and Retweets will now post to your Facebook profile wall.

         You can update your Facebook and Twitter account at the same time using this application; https://www.facebook.com/twitter. It allows you to choose which public updates you share, such as only photos or links and events. When you post a public update to your Facebook account, it will be posted also to your twitter account, but only posts with a privacy setting of “Public” are eligible.
