ou might find it very surprising that many adults are yet to discover their God given talent. Most people think that they don’t even have one because their talent is yet to be discovered by them due to the environment they find themselves.

Did you know that you can discover your talent by praying to God and ask Him to help you see yourself through his eyes? It is very possible that you can discover your God given talent in paying attention on what you have got inside of you.

One basic thing about discovering our God’s given talent is to be open, it may seem not to be that your talent is music, athletic or dancing but that does not mean that you have no talent or that your talent is less important. Your talent may be artistic talent, intelligence, physical strength, organizing ability, writing, music, a fast runner and so on. These are something that is innate, they are part of us. They may sometimes be latent and unused not until some life circumstance bring them out, and we will then come to realize that we have such talent that we have know nothing about.

On the other way round, we can also learn some abilities due to formal and informal education, like things we find others doing or what we deliberately learn how to do in schools and other places. Though some people might never discover what their God given talent is if their environment was repressive and /or if opportunities to bring them forth to lime light fail to arise.

Sometimes, learning a skill can cause a natural talent to come to light. For example, when I was very young I had passion for artistic works and am always happy when doing this, after my O’ level exam I went further to learn it and am now a good artist and making much money from it. Likewise my younger brother who had passion for electrical work also went ahead to study it and he is really do well today.

There are lots of people who find themselves right from childhood developing passion for a particular thing, but if only they can try to follow that step, they will come to discovering their talents. A person regardless of his belief in God is given a natural talent as a result of a combination of genetics just like the ability in art, mathematics or music, and also someone living in a surrounding growing up in a musical family will end up developing a talent for music.

A friend of mine who use to tell us stories when we were kids now trade story ideas and has written a lot of story books today which had fetch him a huge sum of money. Some are great cook and song writers but they fail to use it, if you don’t try your talent or you are never open then there is no way you can find out these talents given to you by God. You shouldn’t refuse to perform your talent just because you wish you were gifted in other areas.

People can be talented in the following areas like; singing, writing novels, teaching, leadership ability, drawing, creative ability, jewelry make up, nail art, photographing, gymnastics, riding skateboard, sports, veterinarian, playing instrument, computer, baking etc but if they fail to understand that God gave them such talents it will remain there and they will be wondering about why God has already deposited in them what will make them to be great in life.

It is important to remember that a God given talent may be something that you don’t even recognized to be a talent but if you can think of something you find yourself enjoy doing, pray to God, follow that steps and you will discover that this might be your own God’s given talent.

Once again, don’t think you have no God given talent inside of you because God bestowed on us different gifts, abilities or talents only if we can walk with God, pray and ask God to help us see ourselves through His eyes we will discover the talent He (God) has deposited in us and use it to praise Him assist humanity and also make money through using the talent.
